North Carolina High School Basketball - Clinton topped by Red Springs

The Red Springs Red Devils basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Clinton Dark Horses to 27 in the Red Devils league victory on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Bladen for a 2A Conference 7 contest on Friday, January 13. Red Springs will battle a Knights team coming off a 84-45 league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Clinton moves to 7-6 on the year. The Dark horses host St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A Conference 7 match on Friday, January 13. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 8-3. St. Pauls won 65-36 in their recent league match against Midway (Dunn, NC)
