Tennessee High School Basketball - Unaka trounced by Cloudland

The Cloudland Highlanders routed the visiting Unaka Rangers basketball squad by a margin of 59-30 in Tuesday's league test.

The Highlanders (5-3) will now prepare for their test against University (Johnson City, TN). The Buccaneers go into the 1A District 1 test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, University was trounced by Hampton (Hampton, TN), 73-16, in a non-league test.

The Rangers now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Chuckey-Doak for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Unaka will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 75-59 league win over Johnson County (Mountain City, TN). The Black Knights record now stands at 10-9.
