The Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers (Waterford, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 35-28 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lakers (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Ventures go into the Catholic C-D C test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Bishop Foley got by St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI), 47-29, in a league test.

The Cranes now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Greenhills for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Cranbrook Kingswood will encounter a Gryphons squad coming off a 43-13 league loss to Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI). The Gryphons record now stands at 2-5.
