The Jacobs Golden Eagles basketball team (Algonquin, IL), dropped 55-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL)
The Tigers now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cary-Grove for a Fox Valley battle on Friday, January 13. Crystal Lake Central will battle a Trojans team coming off a 44-37 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 9-8.
The Golden Eagles (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers come into the non-league battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Elk Grove beat Maine East (Park Ridge, IL), 52-22, in a non-league battle.
