The Davidson Academy Bears basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Friendship Christian Commanders to 50 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ezell-Harding Christian for a Division II-A Middle District 4 contest on Thursday, January 12. Davidson Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-43 league win over Goodpasture Christian (Madison, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 14-2.

The Commanders (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN). The Cougars enter the Division II-A Middle District 4 contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Clarksville Academy nudged Donelson Christian Academy (Nashville, TN), 59-51, in a league contest.
