North Carolina High School Basketball - Northside - Pinetown succumbs to East Carteret

The East Carteret Mariners topped the visiting Northside - Pinetown Panthers basketball team by a final score of 67-48 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Mariners face the Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 3 game, on Friday, January 13. East Carteret will attempt to move on its 12-2 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 34-28 league win over Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC).
