California High School Basketball - La Puente ripped by Edgewood

The Edgewood Lions basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting La Puente Warriors to 11 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ganesha for a Miramonte contest on Thursday, January 12. Edgewood will battle a Giants team coming off a 32-26 league win over Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Giants record now stands at 4-4.

The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bassett (La Puente, CA). The Olympians enter the Miramonte contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bassett was routed by Garey (Pomona, CA), 2-0, in a league contest.
