The Edison Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Perth Amboy Panthers to 31 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe Township for a Greater Middlesex - Red contest on Thursday, January 12. Edison will battle a Falcons team coming off a 52-33 non-league win over North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 5-3.

The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bombers come into the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Sayreville was routed by Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ), 42-33, in a league contest.
