Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA), 61-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Exira-EHK upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Spartans host Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Rolling Hills bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Glidden-Ralston won 69-41 in their recent non-league bout against Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA)

Next up, the Hawkeyes clash with the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) in a Western Valley - South bout, on Friday, January 13. West Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 76-53 non-league win over Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA).
