The Randle Lions basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos to 27 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry for a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Friday, January 13. Randle will battle a Rangers team coming off a 72-19 league loss to Foster (Richmond, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-15.
The Buffalos (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region III District 20 contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Willowridge prevailed over Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX), 36-27, in a league contest.
