The Freedom Patriots basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Louis E. Dieruff Huskies to 43 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a Eastern Pennsylvania - Steel contest on Friday, January 13. Freedom will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 59-24 league loss to Easton Area (Easton, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 8-5.

The Huskies (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Pocono Mountain East was defeated by Northampton (Northampton, PA), 50-35, in a non-league contest.
