Texas High School Basketball - Frisco over Wakeland

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX), saw Frisco's basketball squad overcome Wakeland by a tally of 42-32.

With the victory, Frisco improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Raccoons travel to Reedy (Frisco, TX) to confront the Lions in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 13-12. Reedy lost 55-53 in their recent league challenge against Creekview (Carrollton, TX)

Next up, the Wolverines confront the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Wakeland will attempt to improve on its 9-19 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 17-9 record after their 36-33 league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX).
