Georgia High School Basketball - Monroe Area overwhelmed by Hart County

The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes basketball team (Monroe, GA), was overwhelmed 69-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hebron Christian Academy for a AAA Region 8 battle on Friday, January 13. Hart County will confront a Lions team coming off a 65-29 league win over Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Lions record now stands at 14-0.
The Purple Hurricanes (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Lions come into the AAA Region 8 battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Franklin County was overwhelmed by Stephens County (Toccoa, GA), 40-39, in a league battle.
