The James Kenan Tigers basketball team (Warsaw, NC), dropped 51-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC)
The Hawks now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lenoir for a 2A Conference 6 battle on Friday, January 13. North Lenoir will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 49-43 league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-7.
The Tigers (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions come into the 2A Conference 6 battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Southwest Onslow beat Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 76-37, in a league battle.
