The Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA) basketball nipped the host James River HomeSchool Eagles (Chesterfield, VA), 32-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Cristo Rey (Richmond, VA). The Royals go into the Freelance test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Cristo Rey was tipped by Richmond Christian (Chesterfield, VA), 41-20, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cristo Rey for a Freelance test on Monday, January 30.
