The Janesville Craig Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Middleton Cardinals to 42 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison La Follette for a Big Eight contest on Saturday, January 14. Janesville Craig will battle a Lancers team coming off a 90-43 league loss to Verona (Verona, WI). The Lancers record now stands at 6-4.
The Cardinals (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Memorial (Madison, WI). The Spartans enter the Big Eight contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Madison Memorial ran past Madison East (Madison, WI), 86-73, in a league contest.
