The Paxton Bobcats tipped the visiting Jay Royals basketball team by a final score of 30-29 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bobcats face the Freeport Bulldogs (Freeport, FL) in a 1A District 1 game, on Friday, January 13. Paxton will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 6-12 record after their 70-24 non-league win over Bozeman (Panama City, FL).
