Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS), 60-10 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jefferson Davis County upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS) to play the Crescents in a 3A Region 8 bout on Friday, January 27. The Crescents come into the bout with a record of 2-14.

Next up, the Crescents play the West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) in a 3A Region 8 bout, on Friday, January 13. Our Lady Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 47-36 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, MS).
