With the win, Red Wing upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Wingers host Mankato West (Mankato, MN) to play the Scarlets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Scarlets go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Mankato West lost 59-46 in their recent league bout against Mankato East (Mankato, MN)

Next up, the Rockets play the Owatonna Huskies (Owatonna, MN) in a AAAA Section 1 bout, on Friday, January 13. John Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 47-43 league loss to Faribault (Faribault, MN).
