The Johnsonville Flashes basketball team (Johnsonville, SC), was overwhelmed 50-17 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Scott's Branch Eagles (Summerton, SC)
The Eagles now possess a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Clarendon for a A Region 5 battle on Friday, January 13. Scott's Branch will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 58-22 league loss to Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-9.
The Flashes (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hemingway (Hemingway, SC). The Tigers come into the A Region 5 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Hemingway trounced Mullins (Mullins, SC), 51-29, in a non-league battle.
