Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Nashua North Titans (Nashua, NH), 51-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Keene upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Blackbirds travel to Pinkerton (Derry, NH) to play the Astros in a Division I bout on Friday, January 13. The Astros come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Pinkerton won 75-51 in their recent league bout against Nashua South (Nashua, NH)

Next up, the Titans play the Goffstown Grizzlies (Goffstown, NH) in a Division I bout, on Friday, January 13. Nashua North will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 55-42 league win over Concord (Concord, NH).
