The Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Keys Gate Knights to 10 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinecrest Glades Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 11. Somerset Academy South Homestead will meet a Dragons team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Somerset Academy South Homestead (Homestead, FL). The Dragons record now stands at 0-3.
The Knights (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Colonial Christian (Homestead, FL). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Colonial Christian triumphed over Mater Academy Bay (Cutler Bay, FL), 45-35, in a non-league contest.
