Peabody Golden Tide (Trenton, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lake County Falcons (Tiptonville, TN), 59-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Peabody upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Golden Tide host Halls (Halls, TN) to play the Tigers in a 1A District 14 bout on Friday, January 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Halls lost 43-38 in their recent league bout against Middleton (Middleton, TN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Halls Tigers (Halls, TN) in a 1A District 14 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Lake County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
