Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lewisville Farmers (Lewisville, TX), 67-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Plano upgrades its record to 8-15 on the season. The Wildcats host Coppell (Coppell, TX) to play the Cowboys in a 6A Region I District 6 bout on Friday, January 13. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 26-2. Coppell won 59-34 in their recent league bout against Plano East (Plano, TX)

Next up, the Farmers play the Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 bout, on Friday, January 13. Lewisville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 21-4 record after their 67-50 league loss to Hebron (Carrollton, TX).
