In Tuesday's league match, the host Lorena Leopards basketball team scored a tight 47-45 triumph over the Little River Academy Bumblebees.
In their next game, the Leopards meet the Troy Trojans (Troy, TX) in a 3A Region III District 19 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Lorena will attempt to improve on its 22-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 11-13 record after their 49-42 league loss to Rockdale (Rockdale, TX).
