The Mahwah Thunderbirds basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Pascack Hills Broncos to 22 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramsey for a Big North - Patriot contest on Thursday, January 12. Mahwah will meet a Rams team coming off a 48-39 league win over Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
The Broncos (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against River Dell (Oradell, NJ). The Golden Hawks enter the Big North - Patriot contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, River Dell ran past Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ), 55-27, in a non-league contest.
