New Hampshire High School Basketball - Mascoma can't hold off Newfound Regional

The Mascoma Royals basketball team (Canaan, NH), was nudged 41-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH)
The Bears now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kearsarge for a Division III battle on Friday, January 13. Newfound Regional will battle a Cougars team coming off a 41-24 league win over Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
The Royals (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Stevens (Claremont, NH). The Cardinals come into the Division III battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Stevens edged Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH), 54-38, in a league battle.
