Roybal Titans (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA), 28-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Roybal upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 9-6. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary won 56-53 in their recent league bout against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Bernstein Dragons (Hollywood, CA) in a Central bout, on Thursday, January 12. Mendez will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 64-12 league loss to Contreras (Los Angeles, CA).
