With the victory, Middletown improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Walkersville (Walkersville, MD) to confront the Lions in a Central Maryland challenge on Friday, January 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Walkersville won 55-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD)

Next up, the Leopards confront the Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD) in a Central Maryland challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Smithsburg will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
