The Minneapolis Southwest Lakers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Washburn Millers to 37 in the Lakers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lakers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edison for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Minneapolis Southwest will battle a Tommies team coming off a 40-37 non-league loss to Breck (Minneapolis, MN). The Tommies record now stands at 2-4.
The Millers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (Minneapolis, MN). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry triumphed over Hope Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 51-43, in a non-league contest.
