Georgia High School Basketball - Mitchell County over Seminole County

January 10, 2023: Camilla, GA 31730

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) and the visiting Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA), saw Mitchell County's basketball squad overcome Seminole County by a tally of 53-43.

With the victory, Mitchell County improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Randolph-Clay won 61-33 in their recent league challenge against Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA)

Next up, the Indians confront the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA) in a A D2 Region 1A challenge, on Friday, January 13. Seminole County will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 75-4 league loss to Early County (Blakely, GA).
