The Montgomery Cougars basketball team (Skillman, NJ), was overwhelmed 74-16 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Watchung Hills Regional Warriors (Warren, NJ)

The Warriors now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Hunterdon for a Skyland - Raritan battle on Thursday, January 12. Watchung Hills Regional will battle a Lions team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 2-6.

The Cougars (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Spartans come into the Skyland - Raritan battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Immaculata was overwhelmed by Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ), 37-36, in a league battle.
