The Morristown Colonials basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Morris Hills Knights to 23 in the Colonials non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Colonials now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chatham for a Northwest Jersey - American contest on Thursday, January 12. Morristown will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-42 non-league loss to Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 7-4.
The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sparta (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans enter the Northwest Jersey - National contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Sparta was routed by Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ), 70-45, in a league contest.
