The Motley County Matadors basketball team (Matador, TX), was overwhelmed 66-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Paducah Dragons (Paducah, TX)
The Dragons now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patton Springs for a 1A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, January 13. Paducah will confront a Rangers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Jayton (Jayton, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 1-4.
The Matadors (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Spur (Spur, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region I District 5 battle with a 8-6 record.
