The Muskegon Big Reds basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Zeeland East Chix to 22 in the Big Reds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Big Reds now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zeeland West for a Ottawa-Kent - Green contest on Friday, January 13. Muskegon will battle a Dux team coming off a 59-22 league win over Holland (Holland, MI). The Dux record now stands at 5-4.
The Chix (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Holland (Holland, MI). The Dutch enter the Ottawa-Kent - Green contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Holland was routed by Zeeland West (Zeeland, MI), 59-22, in a league contest.
