North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg edges Myers Park

January 10, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28210

In Tuesday's league outing, the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad nipped the visiting Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 43-40.

The Sabres (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Rams go into the 4A Conference 49 outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Harding University was tipped by Palisades (Charlotte, NC), 58-57, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Olympic for a 4A Conference 49 outing on Friday, January 13. Myers Park will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 68-22 league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-13.
