The Tahoka Bulldogs basketball team (Tahoka, TX), was overwhelmed 67-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the host New Home Leopards (New Home, TX)

The Leopards now possess a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plains for a 2A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, January 13. New Home will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 44-27 league win over Post (Post, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 20-4.

The Bulldogs (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Sundown (Sundown, TX). The Roughnecks come into the 2A Region I District 5 battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Sundown trounced Seagraves (Seagraves, TX), 61-26, in a league battle.
