In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ), by a margin of 41-40.
The Maroon Raiders (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Newark Academy held off Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ), 52-42, in a non-league outing.
The Blue Devils now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host West Essex for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 12. Central will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 6-1.
