The Port Washington Pirates basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Nicolet Knights to 35 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Bend West for a North Shore contest on Friday, January 13. Port Washington will battle a Spartans team coming off a 67-40 league loss to Hartford (Hartford, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 2-10.
The Knights (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against West Bend (West Bend, WI). The Suns enter the North Shore contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, West Bend triumphed over Whitefish Bay (Whitefish Bay, WI), 67-56, in a league contest.
