The Statesville Greyhounds basketball team (Statesville, NC), was overwhelmed 59-26 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC)

The Raiders now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Lincoln for a 3A Conference 51 battle on Friday, January 13. North Iredell will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 75-35 league win over St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-0.

The Greyhounds (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Carson was overwhelmed by East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 57-39, in a league battle.
