In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Norton Bluejays basketball team scored a tight 39-35 triumph over the Oakley Plainsmen.

In their next game, the Bluejays meet the Phillipsburg Panthers (Phillipsburg, KS) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 13. Norton will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 9-0 record after their 55-28 non-league win over Trego (WaKeeney, KS).
