With the win, Shawnee Mission Northwest upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Cougars host Shawnee Mission East (Shawnee Mission, KS) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Shawnee Mission East lost 40-38 in their recent non-league bout against Olathe South (Olathe, KS)

Next up, the Ravens clash with the Lawrence Free State Firebirds (Lawrence, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Olathe Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
