The Ouachita Christian Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Quitman Wolverines to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a 1A District 2 contest on Friday, January 13. Ouachita Christian will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-22 non-league win over Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-4.

The Wolverines (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Claiborne Christian was defeated by Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA), 41-23, in a non-league contest.
