Kentucky High School Basketball - Powell County knocked off by Perry County Central

The Perry County Central Commodores basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Powell County Pirates to 47 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Commodores now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knox Central for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Perry County Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-46 non-league win over Owsley County (Booneville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 10-2.
The Pirates (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers enter the District 56 contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Estill County was defeated by Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 53-45, in a non-league contest.
