The Shakopee Sabers basketball team (Shakopee, MN), dropped 49-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN)
The Lakers now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeville South for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Prior Lake will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-46 non-league loss to Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 11-2.
The Sabers (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN). The Eagles come into the AAAA Section 3 battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Apple Valley dropped by Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 91-16, in a non-league battle.
