The Riceville Wildcats basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Tripoli Panthers to 21 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Springs for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Riceville will battle a Panthers team coming off a 37-35 league win over St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.

The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record.
