Texas High School Basketball - Seagraves overwhelmed by Sundown

The Sundown Roughnecks basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Seagraves Eagles to 26 in the Roughnecks league victory on Tuesday.
The Roughnecks now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tahoka for a 2A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 13. Sundown will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 67-23 league loss to New Home (New Home, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-12.
The Eagles (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Whitharral (Whitharral, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Whitharral was routed by Whiteface (Whiteface, TX), 60-31, in a league contest.
