In Tuesday's league outing, the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA), by a count of 73-18.
The Warriors (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Titans go into the AAAA Region 8B outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, North Oconee smashed Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA), 46-40, in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now hold a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Madison County for a AAAA Region 8B outing on Friday, January 13. Seckinger will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 51-35 league loss to Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 6-10.
