Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), 65-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tartan upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN) to play the Packers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Packers come into the bout with a record of 3-8.

Next up, the Spartans play the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Simley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Pioneers come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 50-41 non-league win over Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN).
