The Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI) basketball crushed the host Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI), 71-35 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wildcats (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Knights go into the Ottawa-Kent - Black test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Kenowa Hills was trounced by Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, MI), 48-34, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host South Christian for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold test on Friday, January 13. Thornapple Kellogg will encounter a Sailors squad coming off a 61-20 league win over Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Sailors record now stands at 5-4.
